バンドワゴン効果（バンドワゴンこうか、bandwagon effect）とは、ある選択が多数に受け入れられている、流行しているという情報が流れることで、その選択への支持が一層強くなることを指す。「バンドワゴン」とは行列の先頭の楽隊車のことであり、「バンドワゴンに乗る」とは、時流に乗るとか、多勢に与するという意味である。政治学・社会学と経済学で使われる。対義語は「アンダードッグ効果」（underdog とは「負け犬」のこと）。
バンドワゴン効果は、「バンドワゴンの誤謬」（衆人に訴える論証）が成功したときに発生する効果である。
